Jurgi Persoons is a Belgian designer who emerged from Antwerp’s Royal Academy with a rebellious vision often dubbed “trash couture.” Launching his label in Paris in the late 1990s, he challenged conventions with raw elegance and theatrical presentations before closing the brand in 2003. Since then, he has continued to shape fashion through teaching and mentoring new designers.
